Chase Cards

If you need to have a third credit card, a Chase Card should fit in nicely with your other VISA and MasterCard credit cards.  Owned by the JPMorgan Chase & Co, a global investment, securities and banking company based in New York, the card offers its own set of highly competitive credit services that has become popular for its rewards that never expire and cash back programs along with lower APR.

Different Chase Cards

The Chase credit cards come in various branding designed to appeal to specific shopping patterns each offering features and services that make each quite appeal for the frequent shopper living it up.  It also comes in both personal and business credit cards.

  • The Flexible Rewards Card provides the usual shopping privileges but offers incentives where the cardholder can choose how to redeem their accumulated rewards. They can use it for travel, cash rebates, gifts or merchandise cards.
  • Travel cards like the Chase Sapphire and the Mileage Signature Card earn frequently flyer bonus rewards you can redeem for discounted air travel with certain airlines along with bookings in hotels.  There are other travel cards that allow travel options that include mileage redemption in Continental, British Airways, Continental or United.
  • Entertainment cards like the Disney Reward VISA card earns theme park discounts as well as Disney Dream Reward Dollars that can be redeemed for future shopping in Disney retail outlets.  You also get to enjoy 0% APR for 6 months on certain vacation packages. There’s also the MGM Mirage card and the Marriott Rewards hotel card that provide rewards redeemable as hotel room discounts in future booking.  You have the Live Broadway card for rewards redeemable as ticket memorabilia’s.  There are also special Chase cards tied with Universal and Sony good for shopping Blu-rays DVDs, CDs, movie tickets and more.
  • Rebate cards earn points towards redemption of merchandise items specified in the program or cardholders get it back in form of percentage discounts in specified shopping locations.  Some Chase rebate cards are offered redeemable in Starbucks, Yahoo, Overstock.com and ShareBuilder and Disney.
  • Auto and gas cards offer rewards you can redeem towards future purchases of car parts with some cards tied with car brands like Honda, Audi as well as car dealer like Classic Industries, Marathon Platinum and Speedway SuperAmerica.
  • Retail cards offer special discounts or rewards redeemable towards future merchandise shopping at specified retailers. You can opt for Chase cards designed for Toys R Us, Waldenbooks, Ann Taylor, Orvis, Avon, Borders and Vermont Teddy Bear, to mention some.

Student cards offer one of the lowest APRs with cash back rebates to help build the credit history while developing the shopping discipline among students and benefit collegiate and university programs across the nation.  In addition, Chase cards have Alumni cards with more then 40 colleges and universities as affiliates, allowing cardholders to donate to their alma mater with a percentage of purchases charged to the card. Some of the cards also offer rewards and cash back towards future purchases, gift or travel certificates.
